About

Verbal was established in 1992 to be a space, both physical and conceptual, that provides all members of the community regardless of age, background or ability with the opportunity, skills and resources to tell their story using creative means and to experience and engage with the stories of others.

International Priorities

Verbal has an extensive portfolio of projects and partnerships which it has developed over the last 25 years. We have delivered large scale European projects funded by SEUPB, Northern Peripheries Programme.

Key Strengths

Skills/Strengths include; Project & financial management, fundraising, knowledge & experience of working in education (early years, primary, post primary and third level), knowledge & experience of working with vulnerable children & adults in health & social care settings, literature & verbal arts knowledge & expertise, facilitation skills across film, sound, drama, conflict resolution, consultation, publishing (book & magazine) experience and practice, accredited training provision, festival and event management.
