Crossing Borders

The ILS commissioned new work from 30 exciting writers to explore the theme of 'Crossing Borders'. The brief was deliberately ambiguous and broad and we were hoping for a diverse range of responses - which is exactly what we got.

Spanning poetry, fiction, non-fiction and graphic biography, the new work ranges from political and social realities to notions of transgression and the exploration of boundaries. We're publishing a new piece every week.
