Maarya began her career in libraries almost 15 years ago, working for public libraries across London. She spent her early years developing Adults and Information Services in east London and more recently, worked on bringing a modern approach to the procurement, selection and curation of stock – physical and digital - across more than 20 libraries in Central and West London. In 2015, Maarya moved to Pakistan to launch two libraries new in the cities of Lahore and Karachi, as well as a nationwide Digital library, bringing modern library techniques and best practice to the more traditional library landscape of the region.
