Based in Yorkshire, Jenny has over 15 years’ experience of producing, curating and commissioning multi-disciplinary arts programmes and festivals, including Leeds2023, New Music Biennial (Hull2017), Words in the City, Ilkley Literature Festival, imove – Yorkshire’s Cultural Olympiad programme for 2012; Interrogate Festival 2012 (Darlington), Leeds 2023 and Phrased & Confused.

Summary of work

I work on a range of large and small scale programmes with a focus on 

• commissioning and supporting artists to make new work
• cross artform collaborations and creative technology
• programming festivals and events
• sector development (particularly poetry and spoken word)

Summary of work to develop 

I’m interested in potential international partnerships that could feed into Leeds2023’s bid programme; the interface between digital technology, artists and audiences, how to sustain and develop audiences for new work, and how we better support the literature sector, especially around artist/producer development, venues and touring.
