What the ILS website can do for you

Favourites, Slack chat and being showcased

The International Literature Showcase is designed to help connections to form between writers, organisations and professionals around the world. Here you'll find a selection of features to help you find what you want, when you want it.

Quick search

The fastest way to find relevant material on litshowcase.org is to use the main search box at the top of the home page.

Search for anything you're interested in or which is relevant to your work and you'll be presented with a list of writers, organisations and connections articles.

The showcases

The ILS is showcasing UK writers and organisations as well as participating experts from the global literature industry. You can browse writers, organisations and participants simply by visiting their showcase area.

If you're looking for something more specific - perhaps organisations in London, or young adult writers with an interest in migration as a theme - you can search and filter the writer and organisation showcases to find what you need.

Meanwhile, if you'd like to be listed in the participant showcase make sure you register for an ILS account and fill out the participant survey.

Build your favourites list

When you find a showcased person or a connections article which you want to come back to later, simply click the Add to favourites button. You can then easily find your favourites on your custom page.

You'll need to register for a free ILS account to store your favourites.

Join the global conversation

Over 300 participants have chosen to join our team on Slack, where you can talk either in group discussions or privately. It's a great way to network, form new partnerships, highlight your work and get questions answered.

Slack is free to use and works through your web browser or mobile apps, making it easy to keep in touch and discuss all things to do with literature.

Once you've created your account here at litshowcase.org you can request to join the Slack team.
